One of the most artistic eyes surfing has ever seen, Stoner rose to fame at a young age and captured some of the most memorable photographs of 60’s surf culture. Through 1967-68 the 23 year old’s photos were featured on six Surfer Magazine covers in a row. The mysterious and tragic end to his photography career casted a dark shadow over his beautifully vibrant imagery.
