"Just as the other jacket I have from Mollusk, this one is very well made and will be part of my foundational fall-winter rotation. It's 80% wool, which means it's warmer than it looks -- something I was looking for in winter wear. I'm just so over the usual parkas and puffers. I've taken to layering properly with Jacqueline jacket, boiled wool sweater inside + light base layer. It's Dec in NYC, and so far, it works well. I'll see how it holds up when it gets seriously frigid in January-February. But I have high hopes! One thing is that the snap buttons are not as easy to maneuver in a pinch. But I get that it's useful for keeping wind and cold at bay."
