Longer hull, the template is from a board that Tony Masial, Steve Krajewski and myself started to ride on in the 80's when we started to ride 8'0'' + hulls as we were getting older and wanted to paddle better, but retain the trim and speed. Works like a longboard when it's smaller and can still bury the rail when it's bigger. The boards still retain the "modified hull" feeling; down the line trim speed, smoothness and added easier wave catching ability with a relatively flat rocker.
