Length | Wide Point | Thickness |

7'6 | 21" | 3" |
Inspired by the work of Simon Jones at Morning of the Earth Surfboards in Australia and Torren Martyn’s surfing on the designs, the Rifle Ranger can be shaped as either a step-up for more serious surf or for small wave shredding with an added element of glide and projection. High-aspect ratio twin fins provide ample hold, drive, and maneuverability—alternately, keels maximize projection through turns. Channels help lift the tail slightly through turns for a feeling of flowing, “controlled drift.” Following the now classic mid-length Twin Fin design ethos, the Rifle Ranger has a balanced plan shape and the wide point pushed just forward of center. With a single fin feel in terms of water flow, the Rifle Ranger offers tighter turning via the Twin Fin/vee panel set up. Boards can be shaped longer and narrower to emphasize “gunnier” characteristics, or made shorter and slightly fuller for more all-around surfing.
