The twin pin was developed from a desire to marry the loose and free feeling of twin fins with the drive and hold of a deep channeled pintail. The channels add an element of drive, control, and bite that allow this board to be ridden in larger surf while the thicker foil gives you tons of paddle power for chasing down those outside peaks. Ride it as a twin fin with a large-area, upright template such as the TA Twin, or if you're feeling like you want a more trim oriented experience, ride it as a single fin with a nice wider based single fin such as the TA L-flex.
